Hello gentle Reader.

This morning I woke from a very disturbing dream at around 5.45am. I was in a hospital… wandering around the corridors, getting lost and confused… I was clearly searching for something or someone, and becoming quite frantic.

Eventually I found myself in a private ward, and lying before me in a bed was Danny. He was utterly motionless and his eyes were closed. I moved to the side of his bed and looked down at him, somewhat alarmed by what I saw; his skin was as white as ivory and dark circles marked the spots beneath his eyes. He looked shrunken, small and vulnerable. Then his eyes slowly opened and I saw such terrible pain, fear and suffering in them…

I woke up at this point, with a deep sense of dread in my belly.

A couple of hours later I turned on my mobile phone. Instantly in beeped to let me know there were 2 messages. I pressed a button and found 2 sms’s from Danny. Here’s what they said: -

”Hi jay, am terribly sorry but have not left rent out yet. Have been in hospital for most of the night and at my sisters at the moment as I need to go back for a few tests. Am okay but not sure when I will be home to drop money past. Hopefully this afternoon.”

I couldn’t believe what I was seeing…!
